「超能干探」描写两位至交好友，陈一贤(郭晋安饰)及方志强(刘锡明饰)，两人至同道合一起考进了警察学校，后又分发到同一单位服务。
强生性善良没有心机，但处事有原则，不愿随波逐流，因此屡遭局内同僚排斥。而好友贤则恰相反，他聪明机伶，做人有手腕、心机深，起嫉妒心重，为了名利不择手段，因此很受同事长官器重。
